I have students ranging from speaking no English to reading beyond grade level. Within my wishlist are items to help individual students and materials to benefit the whole class. We need highlighters to emphasize the important details to write in response to informational texts. The highlighters and erasers I handed out at the beginning of the year are lost, broken, chewed up (honestly), etc. This is a hardworking groups of kids willing to go above and beyond and I just want to have everything they need available to them. A level library would help my students find the right book to help them succeed in independent reading. My ESL students rely heavily on iPads to translate but I would love for them to have dictionaries to help them.
