My class is composed of a very special group of kinder children, mostly African American, and 30% Caucasian. Being part of a poor area, these kids are willing to explore everything that is new to their environment, drawing very deep conclusions, comparing situations and asking questions about all the phenomena observed. This is also a group that is learning Spanish through real science content. Since all instruction is delivered in that language, their learning is somehow more demanding and meaningful. Although the school provides great support, it still needs more materials to support the learning of the students.
