My students are eager to learn and travel to a variety of places through books. They are in a stage in their lives where they are being introduced to the love of books and reading. For many of my 1st graders this is the beginning of their literacy experience and I want to fulfilled their needs and motivate them as many ways possible. Our school is Title 1 with a high percentage of at risk students that don't have access to technology at home or its limited. I want my students to have in the classroom all the necessary tools to enrich their experiences and help them grow.
