My ESL students are adult refugees from the Middle East and Europe who have only been in the U.S. for a short period of time. Many of my students didn't get a chance to finish their high school diploma from their home country, but now that they're here, they want to do so and even go to college! Everyday my students amaze me and they make me want to be a better teacher!
