My 7th grade classroom sees a rotation of three amazing groups of kids each day. The district I teach in is slowly growing in diversity. We are a fairly low income district, with many children on the free or reduced lunch program. Yet, none of this deters my "super students" from their day. Students are in my room for 84 minute block periods each day for Grammar, Writing, Spelling, and Literature. The great thing about block periods is that I can get in depth about cross-curricular topics. The downside is that those 13-year-old learners need the chance to get up and move during the class period, something I need your help to provide.
