The Tubano drum will become an important resource for our students that will last for decades. It will be used by all students in the school, from pre-k to 5th grades. A quality drum inspires, unites, and teaches. The youngest kindergarten student will provide a steady beat to help his class chant in unison. The fifth grader will collaborate with other instrumentalists to accompany the school chorus in concert at a community event. All students in between will explore musical elements of tone, dynamics, and pitch. The addition of this drum to our school's instrument collection will both enrich the musical development of our children and help them learn to be active in the life of their town.

About my class
