Having iPads in the classroom will allow my students the opportunity to use apps to help enhance the learning of math skills. The availability of iPads in the classroom would give more students the opportunity to access the activities during class. We use an app that allows me to record the lesson and post it so that students can watch the lesson over if their is any misunderstanding. I use technology frequently to assess my students' knowledge of the objectives being taught. I have students use an app that allows them to record a short video explaining the reasoning they used to solve a problem. Students are excited about the lesson when they know that we are using technology. The 2 iPads will make completing technology based projects more successful and use of time in the classroom more efficient.
