"Every child should have a caring adult in their lives. And that's not always a parent or a family member. It may be a friend or neighbor. Often times, it's a teacher. " Hello, I work at elementary school in the Bronx. Our students face challenges and adversity daily and often times rely on a teacher to be a guiding force in their lives. For nearly ten years now, my students have challenged me, frustrated me and inspired me. It is that inspiration that keeps me coming back year after year. I hope that you will take a moment to read about my project. I am requesting materials that will help my students meet their needs in the classroom. Our new math program includes many online components but my students can not complete them because we don't have enough computers. Your generosity will help provide my students with the tools that they need to thrive in their technologically advanced world.
