My school is located in a low income neighborhood. Most of the students at the school are Hispanic and have a low socioeconomic background. Unfortunately, many, if not most, lack the adequate attention at home and are limited on their resources. Despite the many challenges they face, the students come to school happy and eager to learn. They are respectful and committed. They are deserving of the best simply because of who they are: special and unique individuals.
