Our preschool is a blend of two programs. We have a mixture of students enrolled in our State Preschool Program and Special Education Program. We have a morning and afternoon class. These children, ages 3-5, are from different ethnic backgrounds, have differing needs and abilities, but all share one common goal, a classroom community that focuses on acceptance. Children with special needs benefit from the modeling and examples of their typically developing peers, and the children who are typically developing learn acceptance and empathy from their peers who have special needs.

About my class
