My students love the opportunity to play math games and complete online math assignments. With only a few working computers, my students do not always get a turn to do so. With the addition of these tablets, my students will happily practice math facts during small group time and complete research for science and social studies activities. They will love the opportunity to work independently on needed skills. Many of my students develop a better understanding of a concept by practicing that skill through educational apps and websites. I have also found that their writing improves greatly when they are excitedly researching an interesting topic.
