Musical instruments and fun music reminders throughout the room help my kinders, 1st graders, and 2nd graders to understand the concepts of music theory. The boomwhackers help with notes and tone. The bucket drums and trash cans help with rhythm and time. I have also added in some stickers and music posters as constant reminders for their lessons. The printer will allow us to print directly from the laptops and even from my cellphone to print a quick game or quiz. They will be having so much fun on the instruments, and it will help them to retain their new knowledge of music. I also like for them to be able to come up in groups to the whiteboard and start drawing notes and counting the measures. Then they are able to go back to the instruments and practice their lessons. They get so excited when they see the music instruments.
