My students are just beginning to learn about STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) in first grade and are very interested in how things go together and how things work. The blocks, gears and magnetic blocks will give my students a hands on approach to STEM projects. If the students have blocks and gears they will get a hands on approach to those interests. They will be able to experience for themselves what happens when you start to assemble buildings, cars, and other ideas they create. Not only will they see success but also learn how to correct any problems they encounter and learn how to work together within a group to have success with their projects.

About my class
