Our students are dedicated to learning their instruments but often struggle with getting the materials needed. Almost 99% of our students borrow a school instrument and in all of those cases, it is all their families can do to get them the books needed, let alone a personal music stand for home practice. Having the right tools at home will reinforce what they learned in school, helping them to become the musicians they want to be. At school I am right there with them, helping them to count rests and notes, helping them to keep time, but at home, our students often have no one to assist them. A stand and a metronome can go a long way in helping them achieve their musical goals.
