My students are the best! Some of these children have been through a lot in their young lives, and the majority are brand new immigrants whose families have come to the USA for a better life. Some of my students have a questionable background when it comes to the schooling they received in their home countries, but these kids are truly inspiring in their motivation and they are happiest when they are busy and learning. There is nothing better than the look on one of their faces when they know they've mastered something and they are proud of themselves. I believe that every single one of my students deserves respect and attention, and I hope to create an environment where students feel respected and loved for whoever they are. Every kid deserves an equal chance, no matter their background.
