There are many barriers to educational progress that our students face in school and in the home. Some barriers are health related, but most come from their environment. Many students come from homes that do not speak English as a first language, making learning and communicating extra difficult for students. Many of my students come from low-income households as well. Despite these challenges and more, my students always come to school with a smile on their faces and are eager to learn. Many have very little confidence and do not believe they can do well, but they still set high goals and work their little tails off and try their best. They do not have a lot, and are limited with tools that will help boost their levels in all areas, so I am here to try and do whatever I can to provide them with what they need to be successful and achieve their goals.
