The materials and supplies that I am requesting will help students feel comfortable while social distancing in my classroom. I know exactly where everything will go. The plants will in the back upper shelves in my class with warm lighting. Social distancing floor decals will be placed throughout the room. The scanner will be its own station near the front of my class where students will scan their work, insteading of turning it in (for safety reasons). The portable desk will allow for me to do more of the moving around the room to help with social distancing needs. The bean bags will also promote social distancing by providing cool, mini work stations that students will enjoy earning opportunities to work from. Headphones will help with small group/differentiated learning for groups working on the computers, free of the distractions from me teaching the other groups.
