I teach a diverse group of students. In my homeroom, I have 26 students who are magnet students; I teach them Math and Science in Spanish. My afternoon group is 4th grade FLES. These students take math and science in English with me and get a 30 minute class in Spanish. Because of our unique program, the students switch teachers for English Language Arts/Social Studies. Most of my FLES students are lower income students. These students need constant reinforcement, movement, hands-on, and constant encouragement and love. I try to provide all of my students with hands-on activities, multiple activities with technology and other exciting lessons to make sure all students are engaged.
