My students have a special place in my heart and on my school campus. I teach 9th through 12 grade special needs students on the autism spectrum. We focus on functional skills. When students leave my program, they know how to cook, clean, do laundry, grocery shop, take public transportation and navigate their community. They learn valuable job skills that they will use later in life. My students are truly wonderful and I am so proud to be their teacher. They have made a difference in my life and I hope I can do the same for them.
