Learning about the Sciences through STEM allows my students' curiosity to grow and understand the world around them. These STEM activities will give my students opportunity to work collaboratively and engage in meaningful activities. STEM fosters students' creativity and divergent thinking. STEM allows for my students socioemotional learning as well by giving them intentional activities and responsibilities when they are working in groups. COVID-19 had negatively affected my classroom. Students have become disengaged from others during distance learning. These STEM activities and projects, like the wind farm and butterfly kits, will allow them to interact with each other cooperatively.
