We have 250 plus students in grades 3rd and 4th in our Title I school. Each year our students participate in the Texas Bluebonnet Award program and a district level competition of Battle of the Books. Each of these programs require the students to read "X" amount of books from the Texas Bluebonnet Reading list, both the current list and previous years' lists. It is not possible for me to purchase multiple copies of these books and to house them when they are only used temporarily for these programs.
