I am a math, science, and intervention specialist at an elementary school serving students in grades K-5. As you can see from my job title, I serve different roles in my school building. As part of my job, I support classroom teachers in implementing inquiry-based math and science lessons in the regular classroom. As an intervention specialist, I support differentiation of curriculum and meet with students needing extra academic, social, or behavioral support. My roles may vary, but my overall goal remains the same - Engaging students in meaningful instruction!
