Which seat? Students want to have a choice in where they sit. They sit in desk all day and they are TIRED of it. I want to give them the option of flexible seating. I have noticed a change in their commitment to learning and classroom disruptions when they have different seating options. Being comfortable allows the students to stay positive and comfortable. The different seating options, such as the bean bags will allow the students a choice. The students are more willing to work together. The flexible seating will allow the students more options to move around the room.
