Students at my school are respectful, academically prepared and primarily college bound. Our upperclassmen lead by example showing time and again they are ready to rise to any challenge. Currently fifty-four percent of our upperclassmen are enrolled in an AP courses. As well, twenty percent of the senior class is currently enrolled in the pilot year of our Nipmuc STEM Scholars program. This program connects academics preparation with job skills and real-world experiences. The program takes place outside of school hours and will include an internship in a STEM related field and will culminate with a public presentation on what each student has learned from the program. These programs show that our students our willing to go above and beyond to both learn and demonstrate their knowledge.
