My students face many challenges in their life that most Kindergarten through 2nd graders do not and should not face. As a teacher, it is my mission to make sure that each student is encouraged through lessons and activities that inspire them. I believe in each and every one of my students. I know that each of them deserves every single bit of what I pour into them each day. Our school is a Title I school that serves students who are 97% free or reduced lunch and live in poverty. Even though we are faced with these challenges, we do not let them keep us down. Each and every student deserves the chance to go to college and it is our goal to get each student into college. We will do whatever it takes!
