Each child will be working on socially significant individualized goals each day in the classroom, and in between these times I would really love to be able to provide more experiences that aren't only academic, but will also functional to best serve them into adulthood. Our class will be learning social skills, cooking, science, art, music, hygiene, and basic functional skills needed to be a part of the community. My goal is to strive to make the classroom a fun place to be for each child. A place to feel safe, loved, and excited to learn, even with the tough moments that can coincide with Autism or learning impairments.
