Movement in the classroom is very important for my students. They are interested in their learning and engaged when the have the option to move around. Flexible seating allows students to move in a safe and calming way. During station work students can choose seating options with movement to enhance their level of focus. I have noticed that simply sitting on the floor or on a seat cushion is not as comfortable for my students as I would like. I want my students to be comfortable and motivated to work both independently and collaboratively. Giving my 7 and 8 year-olds an option for comfortable seating with movement will truly catapult their eagerness to learn. The Wobble Chairs that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices during station work. These chairs will allow students to have safe movement while seated in groups. Due to their durability and lightweight nature, my students can use them year after year.
