These kiddos have challenging lives outside of school but when they are in the classroom, they are free to be kids. Flexible seating will help my kids work harder and understand their accountability for their learning. Flexible seating will help them understand what they need in the classroom and how to take responsibility for their learning. My students wouldn't just benefit from Flexible Seating academically, but we only have chairs and desks and I know that with these new seats, we are going to have more excitement during math, science, ELA, and social studies! These Wobble Chair and Balance Ball seats will help keep all of my kids engaged in multiple ways. As a first year teacher, this year in a Title 1 campus has been a challenge but me and my students have learned so much! We have been working with a lot of hand-me-downs, but we are ready to have our own! Having our own book boxes gives us a feeling of accomplishment and ownership, I know my students would appreciate having something that belongs to them and only them! My students use their book boxes everyday of the week and I know that seeing their own in their cubby would light up those amazing smiles.
