I teach at a Title 1 school in a small town of NWGA. Most of my students have free and reduced lunches, and live with their grandparents or an aunt or uncle. I teach most inclusion classes, so my classes have learners with all different abilities and strengths. I want my classroom to be a safe and welcoming place for all of my kids, and I want them to enjoy learning especially reading! I have a lot of students who struggle with reading because they have only had negative experiences with reading. I want my students to have the opportunity to be able to read books from all genres that can allow them to fall in love with reading! I have a very limited choice of books for my classroom, and would love to have more high-interest and diverse books in my class! There are so many amazing books out there, and I know my kids would love and appreciate any donations for our class library!
