Social/Emotional learning is critical to produce college and career ready individuals. The mental health of our students has become a critical concern for many school corporations. I have began teaching a program to support the growth of social/emotional skills of the students I work with. The program teaches students how their bodies and brains are affected by stress and adverse experiences. I also incorporates tools to maintain a state of regulation and return to a regulated state when dysregulated. The funding of this project will allow me to purchase additional visuals as well as interactive activities to make the learning more engaging.

About my class
