My students are all different. I teach a multitude of students, AP, Honors, and Standard. Each class is different and I cannot imagine them another way. Although they are different, every student in every class has the same goal: to pass English IV so that they can graduate in June. In some of my student's cases, I am the last class that they need, I am the only teacher "standing in the way" of them walking across that stage. I like to think of it as I am the last teacher who can make an impact on their life and show them that education has value, does not have to be boring, and that reading can take them to a whole new world. Either way, we have ninety days together. My students are constantly showing me how ill prepared our students are to enter the world. I want to help my students be successful in life wherever life may take them, even if they skip college and go straight into the workforce.
