Learners learn is a powerful message. It is as obvious as leaders lead and managers manage. My students are bright, resilient, and above all, serious about being successful learners. The students in my school come from very humble means but this does not in any way shape how their furthers will be, or where the students will go once they graduate from LEAP. The biggest hurdle to many students learning, is quite simple: they lack the resources to do their work from home. Having a small library of computers that my kids can sign out and use to complete their homework is the difference between a bright future of possibilities, and the bleak future that comes with a failed education.
