My students will be able to learn as a whole group, in pairs, or independently. Students will be able to experience whole class discussions. Students will learn how to work in groups while sitting on the rug through Peanut Butter and Jelly pairs. Students will be able to take their Daily Five centers to the carpet to work independently. Students will be able to participate in morning meeting. Morning meeting is crucial in setting the goals and objectives for the day, but also serves as a way to touch base with each and every student in the classroom. With a classroom rug, students will be able to meet with me and together so they can start their day off right.
