Seth Low is a diverse school located on the brink of districts 20 and 21. Because of the lack of enrollment, due to school competitors in the near by districts, arts programs in Seth Low had to be cut. The Visual Arts plays an imperative role in student development inside the classroom and outside in the world. The arts time and time again, have created, a viable alternative to many of the negative external factors in the neighborhood surrounding the school and provides a positive medium for expression. Hence, allowing students more choices to excel in middle school and beyond.
