I look forward to attending this conference and return more energized, excited, and engaged in what I will be teaching. I have visited the Ron Clark Academy in the past and loved the infectious environment that has been created there and some of the individuals responsible for this are a large part of this conference. This will be my first time attending and I am excited about what will be learned. Learning is an experience, it needs to be positive and memorable. The only way I can achieve this is by creating a welcoming environment for a vast variety of students that I teach and will teach, to be engaging, and to be relevant. The lessons, activities, ideas, and energy that I gain from this conference will transfer directly to the experience that I will provide for my classroom. My goal for my classroom is for my students to learn the information that they learn, reach the benchmarks that they are supposed to reach, but understand the real-world aspect of what is being learned and to want to learn.
