I am an Elementary Behavior Intervention Specialist working at two diverse, high-need schools. This is a brand new position with no budget for supplies to help students and staff. I am hoping to collect supplies for students to use, for staff to use and resources for me to continue my professional development to support staff with. Since I am at two schools my resources must almost double to be supportive of both. Teachers work very hard to deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction to all students. This is extremely time consuming and difficult. This new position was designed to support teachers who work with students with difficult behaviors. It was also developed to help students in a variety of ways I want to do all I can to support students and staff. Thank you for your consideration as we move forward with projects in the near future.
