I teach in a deep East Texas single campus school district that has about 580 students attending grades pre-K through 12th. Over 85% of our school is economically disadvantaged. Too often, lower income schools like ours, suffer through managing our budget without the benefit of a large enough population and resulting tax-based revenue to support everything the kids need to equip their learning environment. Having state of the art technology at the hands of these kids will help level the playing field and positively impact their overall educational success.

About my class
