I am very blessed to be teaching in my hometown of Tekoa, Washington. I returned 20 years ago, as I wanted to give back to the community that supported me so much while growing up! Our students come from diverse backgrounds and over 61% receive free and reduced lunch. Through the pandemic, like all schools, we've been hit with loss of funding. Kids need more than ever the opportunities of an education full of support through movement, music, art, theatre, and real-world, hands-on experiences. We do our best to bring high quality education to our youth. We are committed and our kids are resilient!

About my class
