This will allow my students to have color differentiation so I can say “turn to the orange page in your journal” and they know exactly where to go. When an assignment on white paper can sometimes be monotonous having color helps break the monotony some. Giving students the opportunity to have a variety of paper can increase the level of engagement just enough, and for my students, someone caring to change something up just a little like the paper into color, might just very well make the difference. My seventh graders will be grateful, and I will be grateful too.
