My students need to practice speaking and communicating in an educational setting. By setting up a collaborative learning environment, they will be able to use inquiry and idea sharing to elevate their learning to a whole new level. Offering varied collaborative learning stations such as a counter high white board table, a group of rockers on the floor and desks that can be moved into various configurations, will allow these collaborative "think sessions" to occur in the classroom setting. Using collaborative computer monitors and the microphone will allow students to express and share ideas with the entire class. These ideas will be the springboard for further research and inquiry using our classroom technology.
