I would like two HP Chromebooks so that eventually we will have one computer for each student. We have access to Google Classroom and internet based software that was bought for the English Language Arts department last year. But, with limited access to our school’s computer lab, it is difficult to use these resources effectively in the classroom on a daily basis. These Chromebooks will help us take more advantage of the school's provided resources, practice 21st-century literacy skills, and help me provide more support for my English Language Learner students. With ready access to the Chromebooks students can begin to learn how to find and use useful, relevant, reliable information and work collaboratively on a variety of projects like PowerPoint, story-boarding, online discussions, and of course essays. With your help, these computers will help them gain skills that they will carry with them to high school and beyond.
