My students need Junior Scholastic and Map Skills which contain exciting reading material about current events and non-fiction articles. These items will engage my students and inspire their love of learning! Reading is an essential part of our school day and the students already enjoy learning new words and concepts. They are inquisitive about current events and would benefit from articles tailor-made for them in Junior Scholastic. We also study geography and they are working hard to interpret maps and data. Any resource that focuses on the world around them would assist them as they study this topic. I am hoping they will be able to question, investigate and evaluate a range of new things this year. Literacy is a primary focus this year!
