I am one of two teachers in an integrated classroom setting of 28+ students; 60% of our students being general ed., while 40% of our students have special needs. Being a teacher in a low-income high poverty school district, my students are faced with many challenges both inside and outside of the classroom. A majority of my students live in either public housing, shelters, or foster homes and all of my students receive free lunch based on their socioeconomic status. Our classroom is a place where our students can feel safe regardless of their environmental circumstances. I love my students and want to be able to give them the world. I see their eagerness to succeed, which makes me eager to provide them with the best education possible. I hope that you can help us with this by funding our projects. I appreciate anything you can give. Thank you!
