We call ourselves a fishbowl because we are a school of fish and we are all from different backgrounds. My students (or their parents) are from Ethiopia, Yugoslavia, Belize, Mexico, Malaysia, Guatemala, Philippines, Ecuador, a couple mysteries and some from America. We are a diverse group who are eager to have fun while learning! We see ourselves as Mathematicians, Scientists, Authors, Illustrators, dreamers, doers and so much more! These students are recent immigrants and/or refugees who live in a very low-income neighborhood. They require much love from the people that surround them. It will be my greatest gift to give them opportunities to grow in education and in life by starting here and asking for donations. Please help us in fostering a love for life and learning.
