My students are bright, energetic, enthusiastic scholars! They are eager to learn and to share. They are inquisitive and excited about middle school! My classroom is full of energy, collaborative learning, and personalized learning. I implement station rotations in class every day. Students learn in a variety of ways: in peer-led groups, with technology, independently and in teacher-facilitated small groups. My classroom is active, engaging, and usually in motion! I believe every scholar has the right to learn in a safe and nurturing classroom where all are welcome and supported. I also believe in supporting the whole child and in helping today's youth develop the critical thinking, organization, and collaborative skills they will need to be contributing 21st-century citizens.
