These two laptops would already have a “home” when they are purchased for my classroom. By saying that I mean, that I already know where they would go and how they will be used to implement the endless list of creativity for my gifted students. The two laptops will give my students the capability of researching information for the multiple projects I do to keep their minds learning. We would be able to research the decades for the “decades project” where they have been assigned to study a particular decade and then in return teach it to the class. We would be able to write research papers that expand their writing skills for higher grade preparation. We would have writing workshops online in Schoology to master their different forms of writing skills. They would be able to work in groups to write their own newspaper articles and bring back an era that sometimes seems forgotten. They would be able to expand their vocabulary and spelling for our “Battle of the 5th Graders” vocabulary challenges. They would be to do an online book club with other students where they could discuss what they have read with their classmates. These laptops would bring so much opportunity to children who often don’t get a chance to express themselves in this way.
