My students have some difficulty with written expression, so many of our stories are typed on class computers, and we print them for editing and reading at home. The majority of students in my room struggle with reading, so printing developmentally appropriate stories is the perfect way to individualize instruction. Each child is at a different level of need, so most of their reading passages are different. I am requesting black ink. We will use the printer ink on our classroom printer to create stories. We will also use it for teacher-created games to make sight word games, fluency games, and comprehension games. The ink is so expensive and without help, there is no way we could afford to have ink.
