All of the materials will go towards creating activities that involve various learning styles and engage different types of thinking. Bright paper for manipulatives and easy referencing ("it's the green paper on page 32"), window markers for writing on their tables (gasp!) when collaborating, and ultra-fine dry erase markers for re-useable handouts. 80% of my students live below the poverty line, so asking them to provide anything "extra" really isn't possible. And like most classrooms in the US, my students run the gamut from G/T to SPED to ESL--the "typical student" doesn't exist! The more help I receive, the more I can give them the education they deserve.
