Hello, My name is Ms. Espinoza and I have been teaching students from grades k-6 for the past 2 years going on 3 at a special education school for students on the severe-profound spectrum. I love teaching and I love finding new ways to engage my students. I believe that technology is the future and that all of our students should have access to technology. A lot of the time, the students with least access to technology in the educational setting are our students with special needs. Yet, studies have proven that technology in the classroom, specially for special need students, can increase their independence and interest. There are a lot of apps out there to help our students from visual schedules to communication devices, and I can't wait to have my student's start using them!
