After staying home with my own children for 9 years, I am resuming work as an early childhood special educator this year. With a new classroom and your help, I can create an environment that fosters learning at all developmental levels. Their center time will allow access to table-top activities specifically designed to promote fine motor, problem solving and pre-academic skills. These materials allow me the flexibility to work with each child at their own individual level of development. For example, while one student may be identifying and sequencing letters with the Alpha-Bots another may be working solely on fine motor manipulation and keeping attention to a task. My job as their teacher is to take the materials provided and make the activity meaningful to each one of my students. Your donation can help me do that!
